St. Bede's, Syosset hosts Interfaith Community Ascension Day Service
St. Bede's hosted clergy and parishioners from St. Margaret's Episcopal Church, Plainview, Good Shepherd Lutheran, Plainview and Faith Lutheran, Syosset for a community Ascension Day Service. The Rev. Jennifer Andrews-Weckerly, Rector of St. Margaret's was Celebrant with The Rev. Marc Herbst of Faith Lutheran and The Rev. Eric Olsen of Good Shepherd assisting. Mr. Fred Miller of St. Bede's, our Seminarian, also participated in the service. The joint choirs sang an anthem and the assembly was treated to an ice cream reception hosted by Good Shepherd Lutheran.
