Our PSHE programme is taught through three core themes: Our KS3 curriculum builds upon the model primary curriculum provided by the Catholic Bishops Conference of England and Wales. It addresses the changes that many young people experience as they transition to secondary school; the physical and mental changes of adolescence, the increasing influence of their peers and the media, and the challenges of their increasing independence. Our KS4 curriculum deepens knowledge and understanding and further explores attitudes and values acquired during KS3. The KS4 curriculum reflects the fact that students are moving towards an independent role in adult life, taking on a greater responsibility for themselves and others.
