Our Motto:

“Domino Adiuvante” – “With the Lord’s Help”
At St. Bede’s, we believe that with the Lord’s help, anything is possible. God walks beside us in every challenge and every success. With faith, courage and trust in His plan, our children learn to believe in themselves and grow into the young people God calls them to be.

Our Mission:

Rooted in God’s love and guided “with the Lord’s help”, St. Bede’s Catholic School and Sixth Form College is a joyful, caring and vibrant community where every child is cherished. We share our Catholic faith openly and warmly, creating a safe, happy and inspiring environment where all can learn, flourish and feel a deep sense of belonging.

We nurture Christian values, encourage a lifelong love of God, and set high expectations for every member of our school family. At St. Bede’s, we treat one another with dignity, compassion and respect - supporting each child to grow in confidence and to achieve their very best.

Our Aims:

To fulfil our mission, we strive to live out three core themes:

  • Unity in Faith: We celebrate our Catholic identity while embracing and welcoming all cultures and communities.

  • Aspiration and Excellence: We encourage pupils to recognise and develop the unique gifts God has given them, inspiring ambition and a commitment to excellence.

  • Courage, Determination and Strength: Guided by Jesus, our model and our strength, we help our young people build resilience, confidence and hope, especially when faced with challenge.

Inspired by the words of St. Catherine of Siena, we aim for every child and adult in our community to “become who God meant them to be”- to flourish, to shine, and to enrich the world around them. Our six core values help us to do this each day: faith, responsibility, excellence, determination, citizenship (through serving others), and respect.
